# (Burn)

5**.5%** of all $LEAF traded are sent to **BURN**.

$LEAF tokens must be considered burned because they will never leave the burn. The more $LEAF is traded, the more $LEAF is deposited in the burn, causing it to expand in size through self-fulfilling Auto-Compounding, reducing the circulating supply and maintaining the Leaf protocol's stability.

The other advantage of an everlasting circulating supply burn is that, because of its deflationary nature, it equates to a higher value for each $AURA token, thus increasing the individual value of each single token.\
\
**Team cannot move tokens from BURN, it's locked via smart contract for 3 months.**
